Experience

Born and raised in New Mexico, Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio in 2007 and has been licensed to practice in Texas since 2008. Over the course of his career, he has held nearly every position in the field: partner, sole practitioner, and associate at some of the largest personal injury law firms in Texas, giving him a comprehensive view of how great law firms operate and where many fall short.

That experience led to the creation of Cap City Injury Attorneys, a firm designed for real people, not just case numbers. Under Matthew's leadership, Cap City delivers white-glove client service and powerful legal strategy, combining the sophistication of a major firm with the attentiveness of a boutique practice. Over the years, Matthew has handled hundreds of personal injury cases involving car and truck accidents, dog bites, premises liability, and more. He's known for his strategic thinking, sharp negotiation skills, and relentless advocacy in and out of the courtroom.

When he's not in the office or in negotiations, Matthew can usually be found out on Lake Travis or spending time with his 10-year-old twins. His dedication to family and community is the foundation of his practice, and the reason clients trust him to fight for theirs.
